The intervention at Villa Sanquirico stems from the desire to restore coherence to the whole without altering its character. The villa has been interpreted as a unified organism, in which each space retains its own identity while contributing to a broader balance. The project focused on spatial continuity, clarifying the relationships between rooms and making movement through them more fluid. Thresholds were reconsidered, transitions simplified, and surfaces brought back to a condition of greater essentiality. The aim was not to add, but to bring into focus. A uniform base now runs throughout the interiors, restoring a renewed perceptual stability. Within this shared measure, certain elements emerge with greater definition, supported by a carefully calibrated chromatic choice that makes their presence legible without disrupting the overall harmony. The new intervention does not distinguish itself through contrast, but through precision. It integrates naturally into the existing structure, as an evolutionary step consistent with the history of the house. Villa Sanquirico thus presents itself as a continuous and measured system, in which every gesture is conceived to endure over time and to appear, quite simply, necessary.
